And the Journey Begins #18

They, the little ones, have dreams, too. And their dreams are as big and colorful as ours.

(These are the works of some street kids from Tondo who kept me company for two Saturdays.)

  1. so cute and may all their big dreams come true.

  2. Hi Kayni!
Mababait ang mga batang yun and they deserve their dreams to come true.

  3. And their dreams are as big and colorful as ours.– bigger pa miss n! wendy’s dream is to have her own RESORT, as in mala disneyland na may theme park, hotel, and swimming pool! san ka pa diba? sabi ko sa kanya go lang! kung kaya mo why not! the important thing is we adults feed these kids’ dreams. πŸ™‚

  4. Ah, yes! Madalas bigger pa hahaha!

Nakkatuwa naman and dream ni Wendy. Aba, malay mo, matupad.

I remember my youngest brother, when he first went to Manila, he was 5 or 6 yata. Sabi niya, and dream niya is to have an LRT haha! But the problem daw is that walang space for parking ng LRT sa bakuran namin LOL!

  5. Colorful nga. Cute! πŸ˜€

  6. Hi MP! Tuwang-tuwa sila sa crayon eh πŸ™‚

  7. this is cute for a wall paper. my daughters dream was to have her own hotel but she cannot figure out what will she name the hotel. πŸ™‚

  8. Hi Carla!

Who knows, matupad ang dream niya.

But you know, I’m happy and smiling while typing my replies here.

  11. Ang galing naman ng mga chikiting. Ms. N, namiss ko po mga pictures. Hope to see more great pictures from you.

  13. wow, these are nice drawings. and i wish they do get their dreams someday. thanks to people like you Ms N!

  14. Hi Dinah!
Yeah, that is my wish for them, too.

    Salamat din.

Look at you now, malayo na, nasa New Zealand na! hehehe πŸ™‚

  18. Yes, ang gagaling nilang mag-draw, di ba? They were really supposed to draw their dreams, Kaatid.

  19. cute art works. i hope their dreams come true.

  20. I sure hope, too, PM. Sana nga, sana…

  21. Wow! The street kids are very artistic ha.. πŸ™‚

    Kumusta, Aling AC. Na-miss kita!

  23. nindot kaayo ang ilang drawings n πŸ™‚ i cannot remember drawing about my dreams when i was a kid, maybe it is time for me to do it πŸ™‚

  24. Nindot gyud! πŸ™‚ Well, we can always pretend we are kids and draw with kid-like innocence πŸ˜‰

  25. Hi Ms. N.

    Beautiful artworks I gotta say.

  26. Pao! Na-miss kita, iho.

  31. Very inspiring photos. I hope these kids will continue to be guided to travel the right path in their lives in order to attain their dreams. Thank you for sharing! πŸ™‚

  32. I hope so, too, Irene. Thanks for stopping by! Kitakits around πŸ˜‰

  33. So true… if not bigger! I love looking at kids’ artworks. They are not just clever but very honest too =)

  34. Yes, very honest sila. No pretentions, whatsoever. That’s why though their artwork are simple, they are very pleasing to look at πŸ˜‰

  35. It is good to hear that our street kids still have their dreams to hold on to. It is their only way to keep their hopes high despite their status in life.

I admire what you did and I commend you for doing that. Keep it up!

  36. Indeed, because their dreams can propel them to have a good future πŸ™‚

Big, big thanks for your kind words, and welcome to my blog.

  37. I’m going to make a collage of my daughter’s drawings too, it’s really cute that there’s a story to tell in her every drawing piece. Soon, I will share it like this one.

  38. Hi Sheng, good idea πŸ˜‰ I’m sure your daughter will be happy to see her works posted like the ones in the picture. Ang galing naman kasi naisipan mo ito for your daughter. Nanay used to collect naman my papers in school, yung mga test papers hehehe. She compiled then and they are now many decades old haha!
